How fees, Medicare rebates and concession rates work at Fleurieu Psychology Services.
With a GP referral and Mental Health Care Plan you can claim a Medicare rebate on each session. Under the Better Access to Mental Health scheme, clients can access up to ten visits per calendar year, with a maximum of six sessions per GP referral.
A reduced rate is available to clients holding a current Health Care Card or other government concession card. Please bring your card to your first appointment so the correct fee can be applied.
The full fee is payable at the end of each session. We can process the rebate electronically so that it is refunded to your bank account, or issue an invoice so you can claim through myGov yourself.

A $50 non-attendance fee may be charged where an appointment is missed without 24 hours’ notice, and this fee is the client’s responsibility rather than a paying agency’s.
